Welcome to ForCord.com, the website devoted to honoring the memory of Cordell Jackson Reynolds (Cord) and continuing his professional goals through the lives of others.  Cord’s time on earth ended abruptly on March 20, 2021 only 8 months post finishing the Masters of Science in Social Work at the Steve Hicks School of Social Work https://socialwork.utexas.edu/ at the University of Texas at Austin.  While his personal journey may have ended, our family’s desire is to see his professional passions continue.

This site will provide glimpses into who Cord was, who he was becoming and honor those who continue his path.  Cord’s mom, dad and two brothers have determined to create partnerships, sponsor scholarships for high school seniors entering college, create an endowment to fund field placements for social work students at UT Austin and host annual Social Work and Mental Health Symposiums to honor his life.
